Dr. William Carty is recognized nationally as one of the foremost authorities in ceramic materials, with over three decades of experience spanning research, academia, and industrial consulting. A former John McMahon Professor of Ceramic Engineering at Alfred University, Dr. Carty has an unmatched ability to solve problems at every level of complexity—from well-defined technical challenges to the most intricate, multifaceted issues where the core problem itself is difficult to identify.
His expertise covers the entire lifecycle of ceramic materials—from design and processing to performance and failure analysis.
